"Samo is on Fire" measures 100cm x 100cm, with a panel format and a depth of 3.5cm. It was created using acrylic paint with palette knife and spray techniques on cotton canvas (canvas 6), in 2022, at Atelier Bruno Portella. As this artwork is in a panel format, it does not require framing and looks beautiful simply stretched on a stretcher bar. The "Samo is on Fire" painting also comes with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity, signed by the artist.
SAMO IS ON FIRE – AN ARTWORK FROM THE "ICONS OF FIRE" SERIES
"Samo is on Fire" was created by the artist for his series of works titled "Icons of Fire." This series depicts moments, personalities, and monuments that, much like fire, have transformed the environments they touched or inhabit. The theme of overcoming challenges is very poignant for the artist, and in this series, all depicted subjects had to overcome numerous obstacles to become who they are. They transcended their challenges to such an extent that they transformed everything they encountered and became icons. This is the message Bruno Portella conveys with the "Icons of Fire" series: overcoming and evolution.
BRUNO PORTELLA – ABOUT THE ARTIST
Bruno Portella is a fine artist with 18 years of experience. With influences from both academic and contemporary art, Portman creates works across diverse platforms and techniques.
From a young age, Bruno was always attracted to fire, an attraction that didn't always end well, with frequent small fires. Time passed, and the young pyromaniac evolved into a fine artist. The union of these two elements generated the visual identity for which the artist is currently known.
Portman’s works are held in private collections in cities such as Miami, San Diego, Toronto, Vancouver, Amsterdam, Geneva, and São Paulo. Recently, through an invitation, he was featured in "The Art Book Brasil," launched in December 2015 by DecorBook publishing house in Miami during the Art Basel Miami art and design fair. During 2015, 2016, and 2017, Bruno Portella also participated in "Art Battle Brazil" and "ArtBattle Amsterdam." This is a global event that has been running for fifteen years in Canada, three years in Brazil, and recently debuted in Europe. The artist was champion of two Brazilian editions, "ArtBattle Lounge Brazil," held in December 2015 and December 2016. In June 2017, the artist was crowned champion of the first "Art Battle Amsterdam." In November, the artist returned for the third edition of the Dutch event and also won "ArtBattle #3 Amsterdam." In January 2017, Atelier Bruno Portella was named the favorite art gallery and decor establishment in Alphaville and its surrounding region by Vero magazine. In February of the same year, he was invited by the board of the Latin America Memorial to exhibit three artworks for an indefinite period at the emblematic venue. The paintings are currently on display. Bruno Portella also contributed to the book "Who’s Who Brazilian Artists" by Decorbook, launched in January 2018. Also in January 2018, the artist received the "Highlight Artist" award from the global art circuit "Mares, Cores e Estrelas Guia." In his works, Portman discusses aspects of contemporary life in a captivating manner, with a visually striking identity characterized by vibrant colors and compelling contrasts.

DELIVERY TERMS
Delivery takes 1 to 5 business days after payment confirmation, and the tracking code is sent to you after posting. The artwork is shipped rolled in a tube, requiring the investor to have it stretched onto a stretcher bar. This process is cheaper, faster, and much safer. Shipping the artwork rolled protects your investment!
If you specifically wish to receive the artwork already stretched on a stretcher bar, please notify us via WhatsApp at (11) 97205-9183. If shipping the artwork via a carrier is necessary due to the stretcher bar, the freight cost will be borne by the investor and added to the artwork's value. This process tends to be more expensive, but we have successfully completed numerous deliveries this way. The artwork arrives perfectly intact.
PAYMENT METHODS
Upfront: Via bank transfer, credit card, or bank slip (boleto).
Installments: We divide the artwork's value into 2 interest-free installments on a credit card, or up to 18 installments, also on a credit card, with an associated financial cost.
